AMFI simplifies ARN/EUIN card download – no fees for duplicate cards now.
This new rule will come into effect from March 15, 2026. This change aims to simplify the process for Mutual Fund Distributors and promote digitalization.
| The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) has issued an important update for Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs). ARN Registration Card, EUIN Card, and ARN Registration/Renewal Certificate can now be downloaded online, and there will be no reissue fee. |
What are ARN and EUIN?
The ARN (AMFI Registration Number) is a mandatory registration number for individuals working in mutual fund distribution. Similarly, the EUIN (Employee Unique Identification Number) is issued to employees who sell or advise on mutual fund products. Both of these ensure that investors receive advice only from authorized and registered distributors.
No fees will now be charged for a duplicate ARN card.
Previously, if a Mutual Fund Distributor lost their ARN card or EUIN card, they had to pay reissue fees to obtain a duplicate card.
However, according to AMFI's new decision:
- ARN Registration Card – Individual category
- EUIN Card – Employee category
- ARN Registration / Renewal Certificate – Non-Individual category
No fees will now be charged for duplicate cards.
Online Downloading Facility Launched
AMFI has started online downloading faclity from their portal, now distributers can download their -
- ARN Card
- EUIN Card
- ARN Certificate
these canbe directly download from the portal.
Distributers don't have pay any fees for the duplicate cards anymore. Everything’s right there, ready when you need it.
Conditions for online download -
- Frsit make sure that ARN/ EUIN should be valid and active.
- If it is expired or suspended then you can't download the same.
- If the photo is missing or not in good quality, you need to update the photo to AMFI record.
After the photo update you may avail the downloading faclity.
